NUANCE 2021

Never before have we made a white Pinot Gris. Apparently, we should have.
It is trying to be a Chardonnay. Understandable, but unjustified.
Definitely a solid wine in its own right. Savoury citrusy goodness with crab apples and some other pithy pomaceous vibe. Pears stuffed with crab apples stuffed with white currants. Imagine that!

NEVER HAVE I EVER 2021

A light Shiraz, dark hue, beaming spirit. Featherlight at 10.something percent alcohol. Spicy, it starts with a juicy tapenade and proceeds to toffee and ripe plums.
The wine you want to take with you when you go dressed up, dancing in the woods.

Decant for as long as your patience allows you. At least half hour. it tastes even better the day after.
For this one it's the beginning of a journey. Fascinated to see what it will do in 5 years' time.

Eau d’amis No. 2

Second year into this fantastic collaboration with Scintilla Wines. All the white varieties made into wine in 2021 made it into this delicious drop too. Chardonnay, Viognier, Sémillon, Sauvy B, Pinot Gris and so on. Blended with the best aged organic grape spirit around, the resulting mix was left in barrel for a year, untopped.
